Job summary

Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC) is seeking an ASL Lab & Instructional Support Technician to provide specialized support for the ASLIE program. This 11‑month, 32‑hour/week position coordinates lab operations, supports students, and manages course content across Canvas and materials.

The role requires professional fluency in American Sign Language and a strong background in administrative tasks, budgeting, and technical support for instructional platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Fluency in American Sign Language required for liaison role.
• Experience with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and databases.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ASLIE program support and labor assignments.
• Maintain course content across Canvas and related platforms.
• Provide bilingual communication between Deaf and hearing faculty, staff, and students.
• Support equipment, labs, and instructional materials.
