Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC is seeking interpreters to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpreting through video, video remote interpreting, and on-site at various customer locations as needed. Strong ASL and English skills, plus knowledge of deaf culture, are essential.

Interpreters must pass the skills assessment, complete a 40-hour new hire training, and be able to travel to assignments. A Telehealth plan and flexible scheduling are available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English; accurate interpretation and language skills.
• Understanding Deaf culture and NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience (preferred).
• State licensure or state-required credentials where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values; deliver high quality service.
• Maintain professional, respectful attitude with customers and colleagues; ensure timely record keeping.
