Job summary

Pediastaff in Marysville, WA is seeking a dedicated ASL Interpreter/Paraeducator for the 2026-2027 school year to support a high school student 1:1 throughout the school day. In-person role requiring ASL interpretation of classroom instruction and conversations, while assisting with IEP goals and accommodations.

You will collaborate with teachers and service providers, foster independence and inclusion, and document student progress.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Ability to interpret classroom instruction and conversations accurately between spoken English and ASL.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 support to a high school student throughout the school day.
• Assist the student in accessing classroom instruction and completing academic tasks.
• Facilitate communication and educational access through ASL interpretation with teachers and staff.
• Support implementation of IEP goals and accommodations.
