Job summary

Northwest Human Services, Inc. seeks a Mental Health Counselor/Case Manager for the Deaf to deliver behavioral health services in ASL within the Connection Program at West Salem Clinic.

You will combine counseling, advocacy, case management, and care coordination in a trauma-informed, person-centered approach. Collaborating with medical and behavioral health professionals, you will support Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind individuals, addressing barriers and promoting holistic well-being

Qualifications

• ASL proficiency required for direct service without interpreters.
• Trauma-informed, culturally responsive care for Deaf communities.
• Ability to collaborate with interpreters and other professionals when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups directly in ASL.
• Assess mental health, develop treatment plans, and document clinically.
