Job summary

Northwest Human Services is seeking a Mental Health Counselor/Case Manager for the Deaf to deliver behavioral health services directly in ASL at the West Salem Clinic. You will integrate counseling, advocacy, case management, and care coordination for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind individuals within our Connection Program.

You’ll collaborate with medical and behavioral health teams, provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, and help clients overcome barriers through community

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a related mental health field.
• Current Oregon clinical licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health counseling directly in ASL for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive care grounded in Deaf culture and Deaf identity.
• Provide case management, advocacy, and care coordination.
• Complete clinical documentation per agency standards.
• Collaborate with medical providers and community partners for integrated care.
• Support clients in accessing healthcare, social services, and employment resources.
• Maintain confidentiality and meet productivity expectations.
