Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bimodal bilingualism required.
• Meet one of: an Associate's degree or higher; 72 quarter credits / 48 semester credits; ETS paraeducator assessment.
• Demonstrated exemplary customer service and responsiveness.
• Complete annual Para Certificate training hours.
• Proficient in ASL and able to work with deaf/hearing impaired.
• Communicate clearly with staff, students and patrons.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional activities for ASL bilingual students.
• Assist with classroom tasks, playground duties and office tasks.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality; ensure confidentiality.
• Work with special needs students and follow safety procedures.
