Our Initiative

We're building a bitcoin mining rig powered by Block designed custom ASICs. With our mining rig, we aim to address issues such as hardware supply concentration and incompatibility with clean energy sources.

Role: ASIC Digital Design Engineer

Location: Remote (distributed team across the U.S. and Canada)

Main responsibilities include:

1. Chip/block level design and verification
2. IP integration
3. Synthesis
4. Debugging RTL and GLS failures

You Have:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with at least 8 years of digital design and verification industry experience
• Proven industry RTL (Verilog / System Verilog) ASIC design experience targeting leading edge ASIC technologies
• Experience with simulation and debugging with Synopsys functional verification tools
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, Makefile
• Understanding of SPI/UART protocols
• Knowledge of IP integration within an ASIC
• Ability to debug issues and identify solutions quickly

Preferred Experience:

• MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• STA timing signoff with Synopsys PrimeTime
• Experience with physical PnR, custom cells, libraries
• Experience with Synopsys EDA tools
• Design and verification on FPGA
