Job summary

Loews Atlanta Hotel is seeking an energetic Barback to support our bar team in Midtown Atlanta. You will replenish inventory, assist bartenders, prepare garnishes, and maintain bar cleanliness to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

We value reliability, organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a bar or restaurant setting.
• Ability to lift/pull/push 75+ pounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fast-paced environment multitasking capability.
• Flexibility to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Replenish and restock the bar with liquor, beer, wine, ice, glassware, garnishes, and other supplies.
• Assist bartenders with setting up and breaking down the bar before and after shifts or events.
• Prepare garnishes such as lemon, lime, and orange wedges, cherries and olives.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area; wash and dry glassware and wipe surfaces.
• Monitor stock levels and alert staff when supplies are low.
• Provide friendly guest assistance and ensure timely beverage delivery during peak hours.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for beverage handling and bar cleanliness.
