Job summary

The Village Method is hiring a Program Manager to lead ASHE at elementary sites in Southern Alameda County. You will run 16 weeks of enrichment, supervise the on-site team, and maintain family partnerships to ensure a warm, structured learning environment for 3rd–6th graders.

This part-time, non-exempt role offers hands-on teaching, Harambee leadership, and strong collaboration with school partners across TVM programs.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of teaching, youth development, or expanded learning experience.
• Ability to hold a room of 3rd through 6th grade scholars.
• Experience leading a small team, including volunteers or part‑time staff.
• Strong communication with parents and caregivers, in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Reliable transportation between sites.

Responsibilities

• Teach the weekly enrichment lesson using TVM’s lesson format and lead Harambee.
• Serve as primary point of contact for ASHE families at sites.
• Coach scholars into Innovator, Analyst, and Specialist thinking.
• Manage on-site team, volunteers, and family engagement across 16 weeks.
• Coordinate school partnership and program operations with district partners.
