Zusammenfassung

Heartland Food Products Group is hiring a Production Operator at our Indianapolis, IN facility. The role operates in the Aseptic department, working a weekend 4-day, 10-hour shift with a $10 premium for weekend hours.

You will monitor machines, load materials, perform basic repairs, and maintain production records with strict adherence to SQF and HACCP guidelines. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to follow SOPs, and collaborate well with teammates in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to understand oral and written instructions in English.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to learn and have attention to detail.
• Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Promotes safety and follows all safety guidelines at all times.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions and adjusts as needed.
• Loads, positions, and secures stock material for production.
• Performs minor electrical and mechanical adjustments and notifies maintenance for major service.
• Starts up and shuts down manufacturing equipment following SOPs.
• Maintains accurate permanent production documentation for the company and customers.
• Follows SQF good manufacturing practices and HACCP guidelines.
• Ensures effective working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
• Cross trains to support other displays areas as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
