Qualifications

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions and percentages.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Clear, accurate communication and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to grasp mechanical concepts to operate and maintain equipment.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Experience driving a forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment to generate intermediates and products.
• Batch ingredients in tanks using pumps, lift trucks and hoists.
• Measure and mix ingredients using scales and flow meters.
• Monitor process conditions and interpret data to evaluate performance.
• Maintain equipment and plant in safe, clean condition.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist with other duties as needed.
