Nivagen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Sacramento, CA is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician – Aseptic & Packaging Systems.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex manufacturing equipment used in aseptic processing, sterile filling, and packaging to support cGMP operations. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Facilities, and strict adherence to GMP,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• 2-5 years of maintenance experience in regulated manufacturing preferred.
• Experience maintaining manufacturing/packaging equipment required.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments preferred.
• Experience supporting aseptic processing or cleanroom equipment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, qualification, and startup of new or modified equipment.
• Maintain documentation in CMMS per GMP and SOPs.
• Support equipment readiness for GMP production and line clearance activities.
