Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, Indiana seeks an Aseptic Equipment Lead to own the setup, performance, and optimization of our aseptic filling line during your shift—directly impacting production success and product quality.

You'll collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Filling Operators, act as the go‑to expert for the equipment, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency across the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to learn enterprise systems such as Veeva, D365 and Blue Mountain.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Become subject-matter expert for assigned filling line and supporting systems.
• Lead troubleshooting, identify root causes and implement long-term solutions.
• Monitor line performance and support OCRs and inspection readiness.
• Analyze trends to reduce downtime and improve operator efficiency and yield.
• Standardize and train others on equipment setup and basic troubleshooting.
• Partner with Line Engineers and Operational Excellence to improve safety, quality, efficiency.
• Maintain aseptic gowning certification and complete operator qualification/media fill requirements.
