Job summary

Simtra US LLC is seeking an Aseptic Equipment Lead to own setup, performance, and optimization of a key filling line in our Bloomington, IN facility. You will work with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operators to drive continuous improvement and ensure product quality.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, line efficiency, and safety in a Grade A-D cleanroom environment, with night shift hours 10:00pm-8:30am, Mon-Thurs, and opportunities for development within a leading bio/pharma

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, plus the ability to learn enterprise systems such as Veeva, D365, and Blue Mountain.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot in a hands-on, equipment-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Become the subject-matter expert for your assigned filling line and its supporting systems.
Lead troubleshooting efforts by identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
Monitor line performance to support OCRs and ensure inspection readiness.
Analyze trends to reduce downtime, improve operator efficiency, and boost yield.
Standardize and train others on equipment setup and basic troubleshooting.
Partner with Line Engineers and Operational Excellence teams to drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements.
Maintain aseptic gowning certification and complete operator qualification/media fill requirements.
