Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics in Norwood, MA is seeking a 12-hour day shift technician to execute aseptic processing of mRNA and LMX/LNP for clinical and commercial drug substances. You will follow SOPs, batch records, and GMP requirements to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a STEM degree or HS Diploma with relevant experience, and must be at Moderna’s site full-time with no remote work. Training and on-the-job coaching are part of the role, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• STEM degree with 2-3 years’ industry experience, or an Associate’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience, or HS Diploma with 5 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits and follow Moderna’s safety procedures.
• Follow GMP regulations and SOPs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Execute tasks using SOPs, batch records, and reader-doer roles with documented accuracy.
• Maintain Good Documentation Practices and Data Integrity for audits.
• Work in Grade C environments and ensure clean, controlled manufacturing areas.
• Utilize SAP, VEEVA, DeltaV, Syncade, LIMS, CMMS as required.
• Perform aseptic processing of mRNA and LMX/LNP to formulate drug substance.
• Fill and dispense to final container closure for clinical and commercial drug substance.
• Approve document revisions as delegated by management.
• Shift: 12-hour days Thu–Sat with rotating Wednesdays.
