Moderna in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Associate I in Drug Substance Operations to produce mRNA drug substance in a GMP environment, emphasizing precision, consistency, and care.

You will follow approved procedures, participate in aseptic processing, and maintain strict data integrity and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; 0–1 years of industry experience.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined execution.
• Ability to learn technical processes quickly.
• Comfort working in a cleanroom and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations by following procedures in a GMP environment.
• Perform cleanroom operations with discipline and attention to detail.
• Support drug substance manufacturing including aseptic processing, formulation, filtration, mixing, filling, and dispensing.
• Follow Moderna's human performance model for error prevention.
• Complete real-time documentation with data integrity.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the production area.
• Use SAP, Veeva, DeltaV, Syncade, LIMS, and CMMS as needed.
• Understand equipment, process flow, and digital systems to anticipate issues.
• Follow safety, waste handling, and environmental guidelines.
• Complete required training and maintain gowning qualifications.
• Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to ensure smooth execution.
