Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Flat Rate Technician in Maine to diagnose and repair automotive systems, perform parts replacement, and ensure services meet VIP quality standards. The role emphasizes safety, accurate service work orders, and adherence to company procedures.

The Technician will leverage ASE knowledge to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining vehicle safety and customer satisfaction. Training and compliance with Safety and regulatory policies are required.

Qualifications

Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals and procedures.
Explain vehicle information to customers clearly and respond to questions.
Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
Interpret, understand, and apply written or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

Prioritize safety as the top focus and follow all safety policies.
Provide diagnosis, repair, and maintenance for automotive systems per ASE scope.
Initiate and display a valid Service Work Order before servicing a vehicle.
Complete MPI and support the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
Return service documents and keys upon job completion.
Procure needed parts from Desk Team and return unused parts.
Return cores, batteries and tires to designated areas.
