Job summary

Phil Long Toyota of Trinidad is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle concerns with minimal supervision, ensuring customer safety on the road.

You will review repair orders, perform repairs, coordinate with Parts, document findings, road test as needed, and mentor apprentices. Ongoing training and a clean, safe shop environment are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related experience (mid-level capability).
• ASE certifications; manufacturer training preferred.
• Valid driver license.
• Strong reading/writing, math, and diagnostic reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete repair orders to factory/dealership standards.
• Pinpoint malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Coordinate with Parts for correct components.
• Tag/save parts when required.
• Document all work and recommendations.
• Road test as needed.
• Mentor apprentice technicians when assigned.
• Stay current on technical bulletins and manufacturer training.
• Maintain a clean, safe, compliant shop environment.
