Job summary

Toyota of Stroudsburg is seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our service team. You will perform multipoint safety inspections, diagnose issues, and perform repairs with accuracy while maintaining high ethical standards and clear communication with customers and teammates.

You must have a valid driver’s license and previous automotive repair experience, be computer literate, and ready to pursue ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Previous automotive repair and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability and desire to constantly learn and improve mechanical skills.
• Certification or desire to obtain certification in all ASE standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Team player.
• Computer literate.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform multipoint safety inspection on all vehicles.
• Adhere to high ethical standards.
• Remain current with all training required to maintain Certification.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Communicate with service advisor effectively on all updates.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
• Ensure customer’s cars and work area are kept clean.
