Group 1 Toyota Bowie is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. You will perform high-quality repairs in a fast-paced service department, conduct diagnostics, and ensure customer satisfaction with timely updates.

Requirements include 2+ years of technician experience, high school diploma, valid driver's license, ASE certification (preferred), and ability to pass background checks and drug screening. We offer comprehensive benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors
