Job summary

Frankfort Toyota is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. You will troubleshoot concerns, ensure clean and safe service delivery, and participate in ongoing training programs.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, a professional appearance, and a high-energy attitude. ASE certification and a high school diploma are required, with a preference for technical schooling and prior automotive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification is required or in progress.
• Technical or trade school degree is preferred.
• Automotive service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot customer concerns using available tools.
• Maintain courtesy towards all customers.
• Act as a secondary greeter in the service drive area.
• Keep up to date with service publications and operations.
• Strive to deliver safe, quality service on first visit.
• Address initial concerns before pursuing additional sales.
• Inspect vehicles for additional sales opportunities as per local/factory guidance.
• Return vehicles clean, or cleaner than arrival.
• Participate in training programs offered by factory or employer.
• Complete paperwork accurately and attach shop forms to RO copy.
• Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
• Be punctual, prepared, and in a clean uniform.
