Job summary

Big O Tires in Arkansas is seeking an automotive technician to diagnose, repair, and service customers’ vehicles with a focus on brakes, front-end work, alignments, and general mechanical tasks in line with company policies.

The role requires at least two years of hands-on lube/tire/service experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors and communicate clearly with customers; ASE certifications are preferred where available.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a lube/tire/service technician.
• Current Motor Vehicle Inspection License (for Missouri based stores).
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake, front end and alignment maintenance and other mechanical work per company policies.
• Diagnose and repair customer vehicles with quality control.
• Train and coach other employees as directed.
• Maintain orderly flow of customer service assignments for productivity.
• Extend Big O’s Extra Care Services to all customers.
• Attend weekly store meetings on safety, policies and product changes.
