Job summary

Big O Tires in Springdale, AR is seeking General Service Technicians to perform tire installation, oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and related shop duties. You will unload tires, assist customers, and maintain store appearance while following safety and PPE guidelines.

Candidates should be at least 17, able to learn, operate a computer, and communicate effectively with customers; a valid driver's license and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 17+ years old and legally allowed to work in the US.
• Able to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Able to operate a computer and other office devices.
• Able to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Capable of handling hazardous materials and PPE requirements.
• Able to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must meet pre-employment screenings and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Drain, oil change, filter changes, tires installation, rotation and balancing.
• Unload tires and merchandise from trucks and deliveries.
• Inspect disposed tires and store or dispose of tires properly.
• Clean facilities, tools, and equipment and stock shelves.
• Greet customers and provide fast, friendly service.
• Explain benefits of services/products and promote sales.
• Perform pricing, promotions, and basic vendor check-in tasks.
• Maintain store appearance to Big O Tires standards.
• Safely operate customer vehicles and support service areas.
• Complete required training and keep supervisor informed of issues.
• Assist in training new employees as needed.
