Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center is hiring experienced Automotive Technicians to join our high-performing team in Missouri. We offer flag rate pay with 30 guaranteed hours per week and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, Rx coverage, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

ASE certification or 5+ years in a professional shop is required, along with a Missouri State Inspector license (or ability to obtain one).

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair and maintain vehicles to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes, and general maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation for completed work.
• Collaborate with the team to keep the shop operating efficiently and safely, and provide customer explanations.
