Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center is hiring Automotive Technicians to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles in a high-performing shop in Missouri. ASE certification or 5+ years of experience is required, with Missouri inspector eligibility or license preferred.

Expect 40 guaranteed hours weekly and a comprehensive benefits package. Earn $20.00–$45.00 per hour depending on experience, with medical, dental, vision and 401(k) benefits included.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles for safe operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, inspections and tune-ups.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation for completed work.
• Collaborate with the team to keep the shop efficient and safe.
• Provide professional explanations of repair recommendations to customers.
