Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center is hiring experienced Automotive Technicians to join our high-performing team. We offer guaranteed weekly hours with a flag-rate pay structure, and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match.

We seek ASE-certified technicians or those with significant shop experience, capable of diagnostics, tire work, and general maintenance. A Missouri State Inspector license or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications or 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License or ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, inspections, steering and suspension work.
• Use diagnostic tools and maintain service documentation.
• Collaborate with team to keep the shop safe and efficient.
• Explain repair recommendations to customers with professional service.
