Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center in Missouri is seeking an Automotive Technician/Auto Mechanic with ASE certification or substantial hands-on shop experience. The role offers hourly pay from $20 to $45 based on experience, with guaranteed weekly hours and a robust benefits package.

Technicians diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, perform tire services, alignments, and inspections. A valid driver's license and Missouri inspector eligibility are required, along with strong diagnostic skills and

Qualifications

ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles for safe operation.
Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, inspections, steering/suspension work, oil changes, and general maintenance.
Perform Missouri state inspections or obtain certification to do so.
Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine issues.
Maintain accurate service documentation and work collaboratively to keep the shop efficient.
Provide professional customer service when explaining repair recommendations.
