Job summary

Grand Ledge Public Schools seeks a full-time Teacher – Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for Holbrook Elementary (K-4). The teacher develops and implements IEPs, delivers direct instruction and collaborates with related services staff, families, and community partners to promote student growth.

The ideal candidate has Michigan Teacher Certification with ASD Endorsement (or willingness to obtain it). A CPI certification is required, and a $3,800 stipend plus 4 contract IEP days accompany the

Qualifications

• Michigan Teacher Certification is required.
• ASD Endorsement or willingness to obtain endorsement is required.
• CPI-Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification is required (training provided by district).

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based assessment, instruction and interventions matched to student needs using MTSS framework.
• Develop and implement an IEP for each student and coordinate with related services staff.
• Collaborate with families and staff to promote academic and social growth of students.
