Job summary

Grand Ledge Public Schools is seeking an ASD Elementary Teacher for Holbrook Elementary (Grades K-4). The teacher will develop and implement IEPs, provide direct instruction, and coordinate with related service staff, families, and the community to support each student’s growth.

Qualifications

• Michigan Teacher Certification is required.
• Autism Spectrum Disorder Endorsement or willingness to obtain endorsement.
• CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification (training provided by district) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based assessment, instruction and interventions aligned to MTSS framework to support student growth.
• Develop and implement an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for each student.
• Coordinate with related services staff and families to promote student progress and inclusion.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and home-care providers regarding progress and documentation.
