Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 60 college credits or a two-year degree; transcripts required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with elementary students preferred.
• Paraeducator Assessments available if applicable.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Flexibility and the ability to work as a cooperative team member.
• Regular, on-time attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support and behavior management under supervision.
• Assist with IEP implementation under licensed staff.
• Collect data and communicate student progress to teachers.
• Support students with personal cares as needed.
• Monitor students in lunchroom and playground as required.
• Move between settings at the school site as needed.
