Job summary

Shakopee Public Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE Special Education ASD Center-Based Long-Term Substitute (LTS) at Jackson Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Deliver direct and indirect special education services to students in ASD classroom, monitor IEP goals, manage paperwork, and collaborate with families and staff. Salary range applies with district benefits and ongoing teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid MN teaching licensure in Special Education.
• Experience with multiple disabilities and ability to deliver specialized instruction.
• Preference for experience with EBD, ASD and/or OHD.
• Experience with differentiated instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect special education services in ASD classroom.
• Monitor progress on IEP goals and due process paperwork.
• Communicate with families and staff; develop Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Direct paraprofessionals and collaborate with staff.
