Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking a part-time Medical Lab Technician (ACSP or HEW certified) for day shift. The role includes performing tests, QC, and maintaining instruments, with responsibilities in phlebotomy and training. The candidate should have six months in a lab and an ASCP MLT license.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a laboratory environment.
• Two year Medical Lab Technician Program/Associates Degree.
• MLT (ASCP) registration/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and quality control procedures.
• Assist in training students and new employees.
• Maintain laboratory instrumentation and work areas in a clean, safe manner.
• Attend laboratory meetings and educational seminars as requested.
