Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking a part-time Medical Lab Technician (ACSP or HEW certified) for day shift. The role includes performing tests, QC, and maintaining instruments, with responsibilities in phlebotomy and training. The candidate should have six months in a lab and an ASCP MLT license.

Excellent teamwork is essential as you participate in meetings and education sessions while ensuring safe, accurate patient data handling and documentation.

Qualifications

Departmentalized technicians will have increased technical responsibility in areas of specialization.Assess and report acceptable results. Troubleshoot and document problems and out-of-control results to level of capability. Notify supervisor of problems.Perform and document routine and monthly maintenance of laboratory instrumentation. Frequent keyboard and telephone use. Constant concentration and problem solving.Pay Range:$27.65 – $49.45This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
