Job summary

UCSF Health, AG is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to direct and oversee all medical care in the Emergency Department while on duty. You will supervise residents, interns, and students, ensuring high standards of patient care within a fast-paced environment in California.

Applicants must hold a California medical license and be board eligible/certified in Emergency Medicine. Ongoing credentialing and privileging at the designated hospital(s) will be required.

Qualifications

Job description

Direct and oversee all medical care rendered to patients within the Emergency Department while on duty. Supervise the clinical care, procedures, charting, and interactions with patients and staff by residents, interns, students.

The position requires a license to practice medicine issued by the California Board of Medical Examiners and Board Eligibility or Certification in Emergency Medicine. At ZSFGH, this position also requires maintaining certification as a Base Hospital Physician.
