Job summary

UCSF Health in Oakland is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine leader to direct and oversee all medical care in the Pediatric Emergency Department. You will supervise residents, interns, and students, ensuring high-quality patient care and chart accuracy.

The role requires maintaining dual board certification and hospital privileges with the Medical Staff Office at UCSF Medical Center/Oakland and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.

Qualifications

• License to practice medicine issued by the California Board of Medical Examiners.
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine AND Pediatrics, or Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Maintaining certification as a Base Hospital Physician.
• Privilege approval with UCSF Medical Center/Oakland and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital before patient care.

Responsibilities

Education

• At ZSFG, this position also requires maintaining certification as a Base Hospital Physician.
• You must apply for and be approved for privileges with the Medical Staff Office at UCSF Medical Center/Oakland and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center before you can provide patient care.
