Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. seeks a Business Office Manager to supervise the center's business office functions, including billing, coding, AR, and patient financial services. The BOM collaborates with Facility Director and Clinical Manager to run a cost-effective, patient-centered center.

The role requires leadership of non-clinical staff, strong communication with management and physicians, and knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations. Extensive experience in ASC/hospital finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with computerized billing and accounting systems.
• High school diploma required.
• Business or accounting degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in an ASC or hospital business office.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing, AR, denials, and patient statements.
• Manage pre-service processes including insurance verification and authorizations.
• Coordinate month-end reconciliation and close activities.
• Lead physician office relations and employee relations.
• Handle ordering, registrations, and health information management.
• Ensure billing records, coding, and chart documentation are complete.
• Prepare KPI reports and support compliance with policy and audits.
