Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Core Tax Services Senior Manager to advise clients on tax implications of business objections, evaluate actions to lessen tax burden, and serve as the primary client contact for complex tax issues.

This role participates in office and regional leadership, engages in marketing, networking, and business development, and ensures compliance with firm policies and Tax Quality Manual.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting or consulting/professional services experience required.
• Industry expertise in one or more tax specialty preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates and senior associates on all projects.
• Reviews work prepared by associates and senior associates and provide review comments.
• Trains Associates and Seniors how to use all current software tools.
• Acts as a Career Advisor to associates and senior associates.
• Schedules and manages workload of associates and senior associates.
