Job summary

Cribl is a remote-first B2B SAAS data observability company hiring a Technical Revenue Manager. This individual contributor will act as ASC 606 SME, author policies for new offerings, and guide product, sales, and legal teams on revenue recognition.

The role emphasizes technical accounting research, policy documentation, and interaction with external auditors within a SOX framework. Base salary range is $108,800–$175,000 USD, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of accounting with at least 2+ years in technical revenue.

Responsibilities

• Draft revenue recognition policies under ASC 606 for new offerings.
• Write technical revenue position papers on complex transactions.
• Evaluate commercial structures and POBs for ASC 606.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to scale revenue processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and maintain SOX controls.
• Support month-end close and revenue reporting as needed.
