Job summary

ProMach is seeking a skilled Technical Accountant to support ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 leases, and multi‑division manufacturing accounting. This role partners with finance leadership to ensure accurate, timely close and robust process improvement across the organization.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 2–4 years of accounting experience, CPA pursuing, and strong Excel skills, with excellent communication for cross‑functional work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation strongly preferred; candidates pursuing CPA licensure encouraged.
• 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, ASC 842, and contract accounting in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups) and strong written/verbal communication.
• Prior public accounting, external audit, or multi‑division manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform revenue recognition procedures per ASC 606, including contract analysis for performance obligations.
• Administer the lease portfolio monthly, maintain lease schedules and calculate right‑of‑use assets/lease liabilities, with ASC 842 journal entries.
• Assist with interim and year‑end audits, coordinating with stakeholders and external auditors.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue recognition, lease accounting, and other technical areas.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, documentation, and controls.
• Collaborate across Finance to research complex accounting matters and drive improvements.
• Support international statutory reporting, special projects, and accounting training.
