Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation strongly preferred; candidates not yet certified must be actively pursuing CPA licensure.
• 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606, ASC 842, and general contract accounting in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups) and strong analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Prior public accounting, external audit, or multi‑division manufacturing organization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform revenue recognition procedures under ASC 606 and analyze contracts for performance obligations.
• Administer lease portfolio with monthly schedules and journal entries per ASC 842.
• Assist with interim and year‑end audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue recognition and lease accounting.
• Identify opportunities to enhance technical accounting processes and controls.
• Collaborate with Finance to research complex accounting matters and drive improvements.
