Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking a PLM Analyst to prepare and analyze environmental samples for asbestos and related materials, validating data and generating client reports in a QA-driven environment.

You will enter results into LIMS, perform QC checks, and assist QA in improving processes while coordinating workload and training new staff. This is a full-time evening shift, with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Geology degree preferred; laboratory experience valued.
• 1–3 years in a laboratory setting, preferably in environmental testing.
• Proficient with computers and software; able to enter data accurately.
• Must distinguish colors and perform analyses with attention to QA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples for asbestos using PLM.
• Enter descriptions and data in LIMS; report results to clients.
• Perform independent QC analyses on others' work.
• Coordinate sample workload by due dates and hold times.
• Assist QA in developing and improving QA processes.
• Maintain equipment and coordinate service; ensure safe lab operations.
• Support capacity communication to Lab Manager; assist other analysts as needed.
• Train new asbestos analysts and participate in root-cause problem solving.
