Job summary

Leader Communications Inc. (LCI) in Oklahoma City seeks an experienced AS400 Developer/Admin for a long-term contract. The role focuses on application maintenance, DB2 for i management, and interfacing with Ensono for environment changes, while avoiding OS-level engineering.

You will work on RPG/ILE RPG, RPGLE, CL, and SQL tasks, coordinate hosting activities, ensure security, and support data archiving and cloud migration efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years hands-on AS400 (IBM i) development and support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, modify, and optimize legacy RPG/CL code and modernize where needed.
• Troubleshoot operational bugs, batch issues, and user‑reported problems.
• Coordinate with Ensono for OS patches, environment changes, and backups.
• Manage security configurations, user profiles, and audit logs (QAUDJRN).
• Tune DB2 for i databases and optimize SQL performance.
• Assist with data extraction, documentation of legacy logic, and cloud migration support.
