Job summary

AltaMed is seeking a Project Manager for the Arts to partner with executives and curatorial leaders to plan and execute complex arts initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage vendors and contracts, and ensure projects align with timelines and budgets.

This role acts as the communications and logistics hub to scale AltaMed's world-class arts program. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in arts or cultural organizations, a PMP or similar certification within

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, arts administration, museum studies, organizational management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex cross-functional projects or programs.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and advising high-visibility initiatives.
• PM certification within one year, PMP/Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and execute complex, multi-year art initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution and stakeholder engagement.
• Build and improve operational processes for the arts program.
• Manage vendors and contracts; ensure alignment with timelines and budgets.
