Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corporation in California is seeking a Curator to research, acquire, interpret, exhibit, and share the AltaMed Art Collection, which includes about 3,000 works. The Curator must be an accomplished professional with publications, acquisitions, and exhibitions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in art history or related field (Master’s preferred) and at least five years of professional curatorial experience in museums, galleries, or visual art organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in art history or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of professional curatorial work in museums, galleries, or visual art orgs.
• Experience in acquiring artworks and archival materials; scholarly contributions preferred.
