Job summary

AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Project Manager for the Arts to partner with executives and curatorial leaders, planning and executing multi-year art initiatives, exhibitions, and donor events. You will streamline operations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage vendors to ensure smooth delivery within budget and schedule.

The role calls for a minimum of five years in cross-functional project management within arts or cultural sectors, plus a PM certification within a year of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, arts administration, museum studies, organizational management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex cross-functional projects or programs.
• Experience in arts, cultural institutions, museums, exhibitions, or creative industries strongly preferred.
• Project Management certification within one year of hire; PMP/Lean Six Sigma or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute complex, multi-year art initiatives and donor engagement events.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution, communications, and logistics across teams.
• Manage vendors and contracts; ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, and strategy.
• Improve operational processes to scale AltaMed's world-class arts program.
