Job summary

Orange County Arts Commission seeks an experienced arts administrator to manage cultural programs and events, including youth and summer activities, grant-funded projects, and special initiatives. The position requires a bachelor's degree with three years in arts administration or nonprofit management and at least one year of supervision, with eligibility for evening/weekend duties

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of work experience in arts administration, nonprofit management, arts education, or arts program planning, and one year of supervision.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; a higher degree does not substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage arts and cultural programs and events, including youth/summer programs, grant-funded programs, and special projects.
• Supervise assigned volunteers and coordinate with the Arts Commission Director.
• Plan and execute programs within rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
