Job summary

The Temporary Project Coordinator at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston's Glassell School of Art provides critical administrative and logistical support for projects developed through external partnerships.

Responsibilities include processing invoices and purchase orders, contracts, and tracking expenses, while collaborating with the Director and MFAH departments to ensure smooth execution of programs and events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of relevant administrative, program, event, or project coordination experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in arts administration, business, nonprofit management, communications or related field preferred.
  • Experience in a museum, arts/cultural organization, educational institution, nonprofit or similar environment preferred.
  • Experience with budget tracking, invoices, purchase orders, contracts, or grant-supported programs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day operations of projects and programs developed with external partners, including logistics across planning, execution, and follow-up phases.
  • Provide administrative support for partnership-based projects, including data entry, filing, and organizing project materials.
