The North Carolina Arts Council is seeking a well-rounded Arts Learning Coordinator to join the Arts Learning Team, assisting the Senior Program Director for Arts Learning and other team members, with the coordination of professional development and other initiatives for educators and schools across the state.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in art, English, performing arts, or arts administration from an accredited institution.
  • Two years of experience in arts program administration or development work.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may apply.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate events and professional development workshops for educators and schools.
  • Provide support for the A+ Fellows serving as contracted faculty for PD experiences.
  • Plan and manage summer training institutes for A+ Schools.
  • Offer technical assistance to schools and educators, including resource guidance and data tracking.
  • Support marketing and recruitment efforts to raise NCAC visibility and program reach.
