Job summary

Foundation For The Carolinas, through the Arts & Science Council, is seeking a Program Specialist for the Public Art Program in Charlotte, NC. This role provides administrative support, coordinates artist selections, meetings, and events, and processes payments while ensuring alignment with procurement and legal standards.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office and video conferencing tools (Teams, Zoom).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support public art project meetings, artist selections, and community engagements.
• Support contract lifecycle for public art projects, including reviews, routing, amendments, and payments.
• Track budgets, invoices, and payment schedules; provide regular reports.
• Manage program records and project data; assist in policy development.
• Communicate program impact via reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to advance program and community goals.
• Serve as liaison to the Public Art Commission and coordinate meetings and materials.
