Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) invites applications for the CACP: Community Arts & Housing Justice Fellow with City Life Vida Urbana. The role centers on arts-based community engagement, tenant organizing, and communications support in Boston, MA.

It offers flexible remote hours with in-person meetings a few times monthly. The Fellow will partner with CLVU staff to develop content, lead arts workshops, and contribute to political education around housing justice.

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating group activities or workshops.
• Interest in housing justice and tenant rights.
• Basic experience creating social media content (Instagram, etc.).
• Ability to work with diverse communities and attend in-person meetings.
• Strong self-management and independent work during flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate arts-based workshops for CLVU members and participants.
• Create communications content in collaboration with CLVU staff.
• Support social media storytelling and CLVU campaigns.
• Attend weekly virtual check-ins and biweekly supervision meetings.
• Complete administrative tasks and data entry as needed.
